Jiu Jitsu is designed for fighting: control that leads to submission. But once strikes are involved—whether in MMA or a real fight—the dynamics change. A position that’s safe in pure grappling can quickly become dangerous when punches, elbows, or strikes are introduced.
This program is about making your Jiu Jitsu practice stronger by learning how to integrate effective striking into dominant grappling positions.
This is not a kickboxing class with takedowns. We are a Jiu Jitsu- and wrestling-focused academy first.
Securing dominant positions and controlling them
Using strikes to create openings that make submissions easier
Reinforcing positional dominance so escapes become harder for your opponent
Understanding which grappling and wrestling techniques will work even better—when strikes are allowed
By blending strikes with strong positional control, you’ll sharpen both your grappling and your fighting awareness, making your Jiu Jitsu more complete for self-defense, MMA, or competitive training.
Think of this class as bridging the gap between pure grappling and fighting. We’re learning how to make our strongest positions even stronger by understanding where strikes fit.
When we add strikes, we expose the flaws in some positions and highlight why others truly dominate. This makes your Jiu Jitsu more complete.
This class is for everyone—from advanced students looking to expand their game to beginners who want a killer workout and the confidence of knowing how to protect themselves. Sparring is always optional because this isn’t about training harder or recklessly. On the contrary—it’s about training smarter, to give you confidence that your Jiu Jitsu works everywhere.
This class is open to all belt and experience levels who are looking to be challenged. It is focused on advanced techniques and strategies for competitive jiu jitsu and grappling. This class changes seasonally according the competitive schedule from Gi to No Gi.
